Are you looking for a fast Halloween project. Try Ghost Parade. Just one ghost -- but multiple sizes included in an easy custom set layout.
My ghosts were inspired by one created by Nancy Witte in the Tech Know Quitler's group. Enjoy this free EQ8 tutorial. Happy Halloween from Tech Know Quilter Members
Each of these quilts was created in EQ8 as part of a fall/Halloween design challenge. I love their creativity.

Lucy Boston-like Blocks and Quilts
This block can be a bit of a challenge to draft in Electric Quilt -- but these Tech Know Quilter's members have definitely mastered it as demonstrated by some of their latest designs.
Isn't it amazing how variety of quilts and blocks all inspired by the same block. I love the different fabrics used. Are You Interested in Joining Us?

Can't wait? You can purchase the stand-alone Hexagon Blocks and Settings class (without any additional benefits) in my store.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I created a quilt using EQ8 to honor those going through a battle with cancer. This ribbon quilt was inspired by a picture I saw on Pinterest and uses just one block from the EQ library and a simple layout.
Even if you are just getting started with EQ -- you can definitely recreate this quilt in EQ8.
If you would like to piece this quilt (using logs cut from 1-1/2" strips), I've created downloadable rotary cutting charts for each of the four block colorations included in the quilt.
Click on each image to access the color coded rotary cutting charts.
This block and the quilts would also be adaptable for logs cut from different size strips.
Here are the quilts presented in the video.
Alert: I have a fun border idea for next week.
Tech Know Quilters Hexagon Challenge
Last month we had quite a number of Tech Know Quilters in the Hexagon blocks and borders class. A number of them participated in a challenge to design their own hexagon blocks using PolyDraw.
Check out their wonderful designs.
Kathy Delaney noted "A friend of mine, Kelly Ashton, wrote a book called HEXAGONS, TRIANGLES, DIAMONDS AND MORE. Since I got to make a quilt for the book, I thought I would try to "design" some of the blocks I have sewn."
The following blocks and quilts weren't from the Hexagon challenge -- but represent some additional great work from Tech Know Quilters members.

Some of the past Tech Know Quilter's classes without the added features of the membership, may also be purchased in my store. See available classes here. Just Getting Started with EQ8?

Electric Quilt 8 Falling Leaves Tutorial
This is a continuation on using Accuquilt dies in a quilt. If you missed the first part of this series, see how to create individual perfectly sized motifs that match those that are created with the Accuquilt dies here. In the tutorial today, see an option for setting the leaves from these dies in a quilt..
How are you using your falling leaf motifs?
