Did you know that Electric Quilt has a wonderful collection of Accuquilt dies -- at no charge? You can download them from the Do you EQ website. Here is a link to their post.
The instructions on the post are for EQ7. I will share my suggestions for downloading them into EQ8 (if they aren't already in your block library). I will also share with you my process for turning these stencils into very usable applique motifs within EQ8. The key is to make sure that you understand and maintain the size of each of the elements (whether you are adding to a block or the quilt).
I've been playing with a couple of quilt ideas for this collection -- but I will save that for a future post. However, I have a great deal of confidence that you will come up with the wonderful ideas on your own and I look forward to seeing them.
Feel free to post on the Learning EQ Facebook group (if you are a member) or send me an e-mail with your image file. If you would like to become a member of the Learning EQ Facebook group, click here. (I do approve all membership requests to keep the list focused on those interested in EQ).. Tech Know Quilters Latest Creations
I love being able to brag about my Tech Know Quilter's members. They continue to create amazing blocks and quilts. Here are a few of their recent posts. (Note 00 I am saving many of them for our show at the end of the month.)
I will be opening membership into the group shortly -- sign up for the wait list to make sure you get the e-mails. Membership in the group is only open 2x a year and I would hate to have you miss out. Free 7 Day Confidence Building Challenge

Hi Kari, Thanks for the AccuQuilt Dies tutorial. I followed your instructions, and it works. But i have a problem with resizing the pompkin. I dit paste and copy it on a new blok.Resized the block to 5 x 5 inch. Writed down the dimensions, and wanted to put these in Width and Height. De dimension of width jumped back to 5 inch. I don't know what to do to get this the right size.

Click away from the patch and with the adjust tool click on it again and change it again. Sometimes the numbers are a little sticky. Comments are closed.
