Have you every purchased a piece of fabric and found it was too pretty to cut up? Me too!
In my tutorial this week, let me share an option for creating an original work of art with no cutting required. Yes -- you can become an artist with this simple tool! You can either work with a fabric swatch in EQ or a photo of your own fabric. (Hint: For those of you in Tech Know Quilters we covered importing fabric in the Working with Fabric Images module.) For this tutorial, I decided to play with a fabric from the May 2018 free fabric of the month download from Do You EQ? called Fiesta Fun. This collection was designed by Dana Willard and is manufactured by Art Gallery Fabrics. So be sure to ask for it in your local quilt shop. Click on the link to access the collection from the DoYou EQ? website.
During my next blog post, I will share some thoughts on how we can use these pieces of art in an actual quilt. So if you aren't subscribed to my newsletter, now would be a great time to sign up.

Loved the Symmetry tutorial! But is there a print version of directions to the video as there are in other Do You EQ projects, or the blog? It's easier if I print them out and follow the directions. Stopping the video and switching to the program is cumbersome.

There are no printed instructions for the blog post. However I do provide printed instructions for all my paid classes.
