I love working with a collection of red, white and blue fabrics in a quilt. In the video tutorial this week, I combine the American Heritage collection designed by Dani Magstad for Riley Blake with a Stars and Stripes door hanger I designed in Electric Quilt.
Here are a few options for this quilt.

Last month I presented a lesson for two twisted log cabin blocks in the Bargello Quilt class. These were not easy blocks. I was impressed on how many students took up the challenge and completed these blocks and set them in a quilt. Check out their quilts -- plus a number of additional quilts posted in the private Facebook group.

These are amazing designs. Has anyone created a quilt from them yet? Would love to see pictures.

Thank you so much for today's tutorial. I had been thinking this week about how to make those pointed ends! Did you have another tutorial a while back(probably in EQ7) making the pointed ends with one piece of fabric? I know I saw it somewhere sometime and can't remember where!

It is possible -- it may have been back on EQ University. I have so many videos, it is hard for me to keep track of what I have done.

Shirley -- For those just getting started, I recommend my Shoot for the Stars with EQ8 training. 14 short (under 10 minute) videos delivered over a month makes it easy to absorb. It also gives you a basic understanding of the program. You can read more here. https://www.onpointquilter.com/shoot-for-the-stars-with-eq8.html
