Information on creating a Snowflake Sampler custom set quilt layout is presented in this post. But I wanted to start with some important updates for Tech Know Quilters.
Tech Know Quilters February Classes
For those enrolled in the Tech Know Quilters EQ8 membership studio, you have been doing an amazing job with working with fabric images. I am hoping you are enjoying playing with fabrics that you love in Electric Quilt.
It is hard to believe it is already time to start thinking about February's class -- or should I say classes. My original plan was to offer just one class -- Introduction to EasyDraw. But after thinking through the large number of you that just went through Easy Peasy Easy Draw in EQ7, it felt a bit repetitive. So I decided to offer an alternate class for those intermediate EasyDraw designers. This one is entitled EasyDraw Kaleidoscopes.
Are you ready to sign up for Tech Know Quilters? For those just getting started, you will actually have a choice of three different classes for February:
New Store for Subscription Services
For those already enrolled in Tech Know Quilters, you purchased your original class(es) on my Weebly store. Unfortunately, Weebly does not offer a subscription service, which is necessary to administrate a program like this.
I've spent the last two months researching options that would allow for the convenience of automatic payments, a secure payment gateway to protect your financial information, along with a vehicle to allow you to easily cancel or defer a session when life gets too hectic. I am excited to tell you that I have selected Shopify as the platform that meets all these criteria. The changeover will require that you re-enroll in Tech Know Quilters if you wish to continue with the program. Current members should have received an email on Saturday morning with more information on the changeover. Please refer to that for more specifics. If you didn't receive an email, drop me a note and I will get another copy off to you. Snowflake Sampler Quilt Layout
Last week I shared with you how to find some blocks in the Electric Quilt block library and turn them into snowflake blocks. This week I will share a custom set layout in an Electric Quilt 8 video tutorial.
If you would like to redraft this quilt, here are a few photos taken during the video that will be useful.

I am confused. I paid a while ago to have lesson with you. I have just started to open your e-mails and trying to catch up. I don't know what you are talking about having to re-register?

My favorite quilting tool is my 3.5" by 12" ruler. I also love the Blue Moon Quilt. Comments are closed.
