Shamrock Mini Quilt

I was playing with my embroidery machine today and thought that I needed to stitch out a few of my shamrock blocks.  These were originally designed for quilting, but I am really liking them for embroidery as well.

They were so cute, I decided I really needed to design a quilt for them.  This one is very simple (i.e.completed from beginning to end including the quilting in one day).

All ready for St. Patrick's Day.

Even when I know what I want to do, I find it useful to go back to Electric Quilt.  It helped me to gauge the size of the sashing and borders compared to the blocks (4-1/2" finished size).

This week my Electric Quilt video tutorial is very short.  I will share with you how I brought the photos of my stitched out embroidery into Electric Quilt to assist with auditioning.
