As a finish this post, I am in a hotel in Houston after two long days on the road. I set up my booth for International Quilt Market tomorrow. If you are going to market, please visit me at booth 2014. Also, I would love to see you at my School House presentation on Friday at 11:00 in Room 351C. My topic is "Delivering a Profitable Electric Quilt Club". I hope to see you in person. I struggled a bit with the alliteration on this block's title. I knew I needed an L and I really wanted a pumpkin. Sonja (my pumpkin fanatic friend), reminded me that pumpkins become jack-o-lanterns on Halloween. So a title was born. This video tutorial on using EQ Stitch expands on using the applique drawing tools in EQ7 and EQ Stitch. And then on using the Stitch features. I am continuing my personal exploration of the stitch features -- in particular creating the layering I wanted in the pumpkin. Here is my finished block. How do you feel about your Electric Quilt drawing tools (including applique)? Would you like some concentrated time with me to bring them to the next level? Join me at Electric Quilt Academy next April. Read more here.
