Update on EQ8 Training
Enrollment in my new Electric Quilt classes has been phenomenal. Thank you for trusting in me to assist you in becoming proficient with Electric Quilt 8. There is still time to sign up and be part of the initial group of students in these classes.
Kudos to my Easy Peasy Easy Draw Students
I have been incredibly blessed to have a wonderful group of students in my Easy Peasy Easy Draw class. Once we were through the formal lessons, I began giving them a number of "challenge" blocks -- some difficult, some fairly simple.
Many have stepped up to the challenges and not only created the block, but also created their own variations of the block and/or their own quilt designs from these blocks. Some have even starting redrafting their blocks in EQ8.
Here was one of the challenge blocks -- a variation on a log cabin.
Here are some of the quilts that were created from this block by Easy Peasy Easy Draw students. I think they did an awesome job.
Importing an Image for Tracing - Simple Method
This week my video will share with you my process for importing images for tracing into EQ8. For this week we will work with images that are a good depiction of a block (such as those found in patterns or a block designed by someone else in Electric Quilt). I will have a future tutorial about when the pictures are not quite so perfect.
If you wish to practice this technique, you have my permission to use the log cabin variation block shared above.
