In talking to people in my classes and online, one thing I hear is "I haven't really learned how to use their EQ software". Or a variation on the theme -- "I haven't used my software in (insert number) of months (or even years)". or -- "I've tried the software, but it wasn't intuitive". Can you relate? There are lots of classes and aides to learning the program. I offer a number of them through my website and through Electric Quilt University. But sometimes it is hard to find the time to just get started. Could you commit to just 10 minutes a day to learn the basics of Electric Quilt? What if I offer it to you for free? Note: This challenge is designed for beginners and those that have not used Electric Quilt for an extended period of time. My goal is to encourage users to learn the basics so they are comfortable starting to design on their own. Class Structure

I like your new design. How easy is this quilt to make if you don't quilt much? Easy, medium, or difficult?

Hi Carmen. I would consider this quilt to be advanced beginner. Not your first quilt -- but it could be your second. :)

I have EQ mini - am I able to participate with just the mini version?
Kari Schell

No. Mini has significantly less features than the full version of the program. For example you can't draw blocks. Since we will be drawing blocks in this challenge, it wouldn't work with mini. The screens are also quite a bit different than EQ7. However, if you are thinking of upgrading, it may give you a feel for some of the differences

At this point I have no plans to take them down. So they will be there a while.

I haven't gotten an e-mail from you to confirm my email address and sign-up for the EQ lessons. Could something be not working?

Everything appears to be working on my end. I would suggest checking your spam folder to see if it is there. If not go ahead and try to sign up again. If it still doesn't work, I need you send me an e-mail through my website with the information you used to sign up (both e-mail and name).

Thank you for this class. I haven't used my EQ7 because I can't seem to figure it out. So looking forward to the class.

Thank you so much for this class. Even though I had "played" with my EQ, I learned something new each day and it will make it much easier to navigate and design.
