Candy Cane Christmas Quilt
Would you like a new Christmas quilt? This one was designed by me in Electric Quilt 8 using Petite Maisons de Noel fabric collection from French General.
Free instructions for piecing the blocks and the quilt are included below.
Watch my free EQ8 video tutorial on creating this quilt. Included is information on eliminating the background on an applique block, rotating blocks and advanced fabric rotations.
My Christmas gift for you this week, is a download of the foundation for the Christmas Santa along with the candy cane block. Chick on the link below for a pdf of the patterns (Electric Quilt is not required to access these.)
You can download the fabric collection from Moda's site (if you are using EQ to create this quilt). It can be located here.

I have EQ 6 , upgraded to EQ7. Will it upgrade to EQ8?

Charles Anderson -- Yes. When you upgraded to EQ7, you received a full version of EQ7. So you are then entitled to purchase the upgrade from EQ7 to EQ8.

Kari, I so enjoy your videos and lessons on EQ8. I really love the Shoot For The Stars series. What a great way to learn - 10 minutes a day. I have a question though, in the free video for making a Christmas Quilt, you mentioned you downloaded the fabric line Petite Maisons de Noel from Moda. I love the fabric line but am lost as to how to download it. I have looked on the site to see if they offer a download but don't see anything. Any info you could provide would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks and Happy Holidays!
