Here is my finished block. I really love the different textures and think they add a lot to the quilt. After watching the stitch-out, I realized that I really didn't want the acorn satin stitch under the acorn top. If you look closely you can see the gold edge peaking though the brown fill. I have some ideas on how to fix that going forward -- but that will need to be a future video. Here is a pdf of the block if you would like to create the project for your own F is for fall quilt. Here are a couple of ideas using my favorite new Christmas fabric line this season -- Scandia. What Christmas collections are you planning to use this year? Sneak PeakOK, I haven't made these quilts yet. But I did purchase some of the Scandia collection and I have used them in a quilt that will be released at Fall market. Here is a sneak peak.

Thank you for helping bring my dormant eq7 alive! I am new to embroidery as well so I purchased the Stitch program to understand more. I love watching you put everything together so I am not as intimidated by it. I am also from MN which makes you a star in my book! I love the Olympic blocks as well, thank you for sharing your talents!
