Strengthen Your Design Skills
Just Imagine...
Introducing the Design Your Own Nine Patch with EQ8 Class
In the Design Your Own Nine Patch with EQ8 Class you will learn how to draft over 40 new nine patch blocks using EasyDraw. Most of the blocks will be either rotary cutting or paper piecing friendly.
Imagine the confidence you will gain after understanding not only the anatomy of a 9-patch, but how to create your own new segments and incorporate them in original designs.
This class is designed for Electric Quilt 8 users who would like to expand their block drawing skills to a whole new level.
Through seven emails with instructional videos along with a written tutorial, you will be encouraged you to spend small amounts of time using Electric Quilt 8 throughout the month. This will allow you to increase both your confidence and your skills in working with Electric Quilt 8.

Julie Pedersen combined two of her original nine patch blocks and tested two different colorways. She noted "I just realized that they would make great quilts to showcase that special fabrics that you prefer not to cut into small pieces." |
Kristy Goodin Soard combined an unequal nine patch with small center blocks with blocks with curves. And then used the Art Gallery Fabric line called Legendary to color the quilt.
|
Kristy Goodin Soard used two blocks from like an hour glass nine patch blocks in BB+. She modified them both and used them both and used them in one of the pre-made quilt layouts from Lesson 2. She also created a merge block with just the flower for the Blocks border.
