Create simple blocks using some of the standard shapes within Electric Quilt. These wonderful blocks may become the start of a special quilt that may be used to bless a remarkable person in your life.

We will start with the basics by learning to clone, rotate, resize and manipulate applique patches. This will be followed by learning to use some of the predefined shapes in Electric Quilt, using wreathmaker, adjusting existing applique blocks from the library, playing with the swath tool and tracing a motif using line, Bezier and Freehand tools. We will even cover drawing quilting designs.
Each block will build on skills learned in a previous block. You will enjoy how easy it is to expand your skills using this method.

- Hands on Instructor Training that will guide you through the blocks and quilts in the class. This will be exactly like taking an in person class at a shop or show -- but from the comfort of your home.
- Small Class Sizes (limited to 8)
- Detailed Handouts that will assist when recreating the quilts
- Downloadable Video of the session that allows you to replay the class over and over again -- until you get it. :)

Level: Intermediate (You should be familiar with basic navigation of Electric Quilt 7, obtaining blocks and fabrics from the libraries, using the coloring tools, drafting basic blocks using Easy Draw and creating simple quilt layouts. You should also be familiar with your computer.)
Class size will be limited to 8 participants. This class will be exactly like taking at "in person" class at a show or shop. We will use screen sharing technology -- so you will be able to see my screen and if you have specific questions, I will also be able to view yours as well.
In your purchase confirmation you will receive a welcome e-mail with a link to videos on how to access your class and set up your computer to maximize your experience. The day before each session you will receive your handouts along with the link to join the session.
