I had fun playing with a new card today. This one uses the Easter Friends stamp set from Stampin Up and is super easy to put together. (I ended up making five of them --getting a head start on my Easter cards.)

The inside of the card. Still trying to decide on the sentiment to stamp. There are a couple of options in the stamp set.

"may your days blossom with joy and happiness"
"sending warm and happy wishes this spring"

You will need an embossing machine if you purchase the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder. The cut and emboss machines at Stampin Up get strong reviews, but if you are getting started and want a less expensive option, I recommend the Texture Boutique from Sizzix . I purchased my Sizzix Texture Boutique from Amazon a couple of years ago and it is still going strong. It has a 4-1/2 inch opening -- one of my requirements as most embossing folders are 4-1/2". Stampin Up does sell some 6" folders that would not be compatible with this tool.
