As a finish this post, I am in a hotel in Houston after two long days on the road. I set up my booth for International Quilt Market tomorrow. If you are going to market, please visit me at booth 2014. Also, I would love to see you at my School House presentation on Friday at 11:00 in Room 351C. My topic is "Delivering a Profitable Electric Quilt Club". I hope to see you in person.
I struggled a bit with the alliteration on this block's title. I knew I needed an L and I really wanted a pumpkin. Sonja (my pumpkin fanatic friend), reminded me that pumpkins become jack-o-lanterns on Halloween. So a title was born.
This video tutorial on using EQ Stitch expands on using the applique drawing tools in EQ7 and EQ Stitch. And then on using the Stitch features. I am continuing my personal exploration of the stitch features -- in particular creating the layering I wanted in the pumpkin.
Here is my finished block.
